The Thomas Brothers are kicking off 2020 with a bang!
The band of brothers second full-length album TOGETHER is out now. First performed at New Zealand’s famed Festival One.
Recorded over four years, the album is truly a labour of love and a real family project. As the title suggests, TOGETHER pays homage to all that have played a part in the making of the album, including the boys’ sister Esther Ruth and their dad, who both lend their musical talents to the record. “For us, family is about being real, and so is our music. This album describes what we mean to each other, and the importance of unity. Like we kept saying when recording it, ‘You can go fast alone... or you can go far together!’.”
The Thomas Brothers have been playing music together since before they could walk. With much to say about love, family and togetherness, the four brothers are passionate about getting their message out there.
“We hope TOGETHER makes people feel just that - together. It's really important to us that people everywhere can feel loved and included and part of the family. We really are a band of brothers. Nothing is more important than family.
[Verse 1: Samual Thomas]
This space where I've been living
This place I don't belong
It's space, but I'm not living
It's far from my old home
I'm missing my city
The bliss when we were young
If this is all, I'm quitting
I might as well be home
[Chorus: Samual Thomas]
I'm free
Since I saw your pretty face
Now I'm high in outer space
Now I'm free, I'm free, now I'm free
[Verse 2: Samual Thomas]
Strangers fill this city
This place I live alone
With dangers young and pretty
That’s all this city knows
The mist in this old city
With sadness covers all
Your kiss is what I'm missing
Your face will guide me home
[Chorus: Samual Thomas & Esther Ruth]
I'm free
Since I saw your pretty face
Now I'm high in outer space
Now I'm free, I'm free, I'm free
Since I saw your pretty face
Now I'm high in outer space
Now I'm free, I'm free, now I'm free
[Bridge: Samual Thomas & Esther Ruth]
Now I'm free
Now I'm free, ee, ee, ee
Now I'm free
Now I'm free, ee, ee, ee
Nobody said that love was easy
Nobody said that love was free
Nobody said that love was easy
Nobody said that love was free
But now I'm free
[Chorus: Samual Thomas & Esther Ruth]
Since I saw your pretty face
Now I'm high in outer space
Now I'm free, I'm free, I'm free
Since I saw your pretty face
Now I'm high in outer space
Now I'm free, I'm free, now I'm free
